An odd man once said: Place a mental picture in your mind about what you want from life, then dance and sing like you already have it.

The dance competition had gone on now for sixty-eight hours. Kelsey was one of only six contestants remaining when they released the enormous boulder into the gymnasium. It picked up momentum as it rolled down the long steel ramp. The boulder hit the gym floor with a thud and with the press of a button it lit on fire.

The other five contestants screamed in fear as Kelsey whooped and hollered for a different reason. It had been a life long dream of Kelsey’s to dance with a six-foot tall fireball. She had seen her idol, The Great Schlim Schlam, do it in a variety act as a child. Kelsey figured it would be the closest she’d ever get to dancing with the devil.

The other contestants ran for higher ground atop the bleachers. Kelsey danced and hollered beside the fireball until it ran out of steam and extinguished. The only thing left for the other competitors to do was to watch Kelsey receive her trophy.
