An odd man once said: Worrying never solved anything. Its only purpose is to harass your good spirits.

Jenkins removed his skin because he worried something dreadful might happen to it while he slept.

Upon waking, his worry became truth. He forgot where he placed his skin. Jenkins was now worried that he would not be able to find his husk. In addition to his other worries, Jenkins was concerned about what condition he would find his skin if ever he was fortunate enough to do so. Of course, Jenkins knew his skin was lost forever, but he still couldn’t shake from his worried mind the thoughts of acne and frostbite and hives. Jenkins skin was unprepared to withstand the harshness of life without him.

If Jenkins ever did find his skin, which he knew he would not, he would lock it away in an impenetrable safe. It was in this way he could free himself to worry about other things.

Just then, a flying saucer crashed into his house with a boom! It woke Jenkins from his thoughts. As if from nowhere, there was his skin. It was right where he had left it.
