A wise man once said: Practice and visualization are the most essential disciplines in your development of skills.

Puggs was zero and seventy-five in title boxing bouts. Even worse was the fact that all of his losses came by way of knockout to the most calculated thumper the sport had ever known, Reginald “Tik Tok” Toddy.

‘Tik Tok’ had been punching Puggs’ number for over thirty-three years, but their last match hadn’t been for over forty years. In the meantime, Puggs had been practicing day and night with the best trainers, was eating the healthiest foods, and he visualized his improved uppercut blasting ‘Tik Tok’s’ pointy chin.

The bell rang and Puggs charged from his corner. In the other corner, ‘Tik Tok’ Toddy needed to be hoisted to his feet. Toddy was no longer young physically, but he possessed the spirit of a plucky lion. ‘Tik Tok’ met Puggs at center ring first with his steely eyes and then with an overhand right so devastating it would have ended Puggs’ life if it had not landed six-inches short of Puggs’ chin. Puggs reacted quickly with an uppercut so large it knocked ‘Tik Tok’s’ bones from his body.

That is how we got a new champ.
